RETURNS POLICY

RETURNS POLICY OF MODECRAZE, INc.
Standard Return Policy

We accept returns within 7 days of the delivery date.

At Modecraze, we want to ensure your shopping experience is as satisfying as possible. If, for any reason, you're not entirely pleased with your order, you have the option to return it within 7 days of the delivery date.

How It Works:
  • Eligible Products: You will find information about whether a product falls under our Standard Return Policy stated on its respective product page. If a product's page does not mention the "Standard Return Policy," it indicates that the product does not qualify for our Standard Return Policy.

  • Return Window: You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return request for qualifying items. Ensure you send your return within 5 days of receiving the return label. Returns dispatched beyond this timeframe will not be accepted.

  • Return Products: All returned items must be returned in new and original product condition, with all tags, designer labels, designer documentation (authenticity cards, care cards, etc.), designer packaging (boxes, dust bags, etc.), and protective plastic (if applicable) still attached. We do not accept returns for used, worn or damaged products.

  • Refund: Upon the successful return and inspection of the product, we will process a refund to your original payment method, deducting a restocking fee as applicable. Please be aware that after the refund has been processed, it may take 4 - 7 days for it to be posted to your original payment method, depending on your financial institution's processing times.

  • Duties & Taxes: Please note that duties & taxes we paid on your behalf to the customs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund. This applies to all orders shipped from Europe.

Restocking fees

Please note that most of our products originate from partner boutiques in Italy. When you initiate a return, the items are sent back to Italy. Italian customs treats every product, regardless of its origin, as a new import, subjecting it to a duty tax (VAT). To cover these expenses, we apply a flat fee to all returns.

  • 30 USD Restocking Fee will be deducted from your refund for all returned orders under 1000 USD.
  • 50 USD Restocking Fee will be deducted from your refund for all returned orders above 1000 USD.

Restocking fee covers shipping and insurance for returned merchandise.

Store Credit Return Policy

Please note that certain products can only be returned for store credit. If, for any reason, you're not completely content with your purchase, you have the flexibility to return the item within 7 days of the delivery date and receive store credit in return.

  • Eligible Products: Products covered by our Store Credit Return Policy will have this information clearly indicated on the respective product's page. Please check the product's page to determine if it qualifies for store credit returns.

  • Return Window: You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return request for qualifying items.

  • Return Products: All returned items must be returned in new and original product condition, with all tags, designer labels, designer documentation (authenticity cards, care cards, etc.), designer packaging (boxes, dust bags, etc.), and protective plastic (if applicable) still attached. We do not accept returns for used, worn or damaged products.

  • Store Credit: Upon successful return and inspection of the product, we will issue store credit to your account, deducting a restocking fee as applicable. This credit can be used for future purchases on our website.

Final sale items

We do not accept returns for final sale items.

Not as described products

If you believe that the item you received is not as described, damaged, or defective, we encourage you to contact us immediately. In order for us to assess the situation and provide the best possible solution, we kindly request that you provide us with evidence of the condition of the product you received. This may include photographs or videos that clearly show the issue that you have identified.

We kindly request that you contact us no later than within 3 days from a delivery date if you believe that the item you received is not as described, damaged, or defective.

If you fail to contact us within 3 days from a delivery date, we may not be able to assist you in resolving the issue. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you notify us as soon as possible to ensure that we can address your concerns in a timely manner.

Exchanges

At the moment we do not offer exchanges. If you need a different size or color of an item(items) you have purchased, please return your original item(s) and place a new order.

All returns must comply with our Returns Policy outlined below

- All returned items must be returned in new and original product condition, with all tags, designer labels, designer documentation (authenticity cards, care cards, etc.), designer packaging (boxes, dust bags, etc.), and protective plastic (if applicable) still attached. We do not accept returns for used, worn, or damaged products

- Handbags, footwear and accessories must be returned with the original boxes and dust bags (if applicable) in new and original product condition

- Returned items must have a MODECRAZE or a partner boutique security tag attached in its original position (if applicable)

- All footwear must be tried on a carpet or any other soft surface to avoid any damage (marks, scratches, etc.)

- Lingerie and swimwear must only be tried on over your own undergarments. We will not accept any returns that have been worn

Please make sure that all returned items are returned in new and original product conditon. We reserve the right to deny any return that does not meet our Returns Policy outlined above.

Modecraze reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine if returned merchandise is in new condition.

If we suspect that a customer is committing fraud or abusing our Returns Policy, we reserve the right to refuse a return.

We do not refund or include shipping charges in a refund.
